Ingredients
1 garlic clove
2-3 Thai chilis
handful of cilantro
3 spoonfuls of fish sauce
water (not tap!)
1/2 tbsp sugar
Preparation
1. Smash garlic and Thai chilis. I use a mortar and pestle, but you can use whatever you have!
2. Pour fish sauce into a small bowl.
3. Add in the smashed garlic and peppers. Pour in some water to fill the bowl (see photo). Add sugar and mix well!
4. Chop cilantro and top it off. I use this sauce for mainly steak and oysters! It's also really good for seafood, i.e. crab, crawfish, etc.
