LAOS

Simply put: Located in South East Asia, Laos is the cousin-country of Thailand. Filled with beautiful scenery and extravagant waterfalls, this small, rural country tends to sit in the shadows of Asia and sometimes gets overlooked. As an advocate for Laos, my goal is to share more of its stories and background, ideally through my recipes and blogs. 

Both of my parents immigrated from this beautiful country and raised me following our culture's most vibrant traditions -- cooking being one of them. I instantly grew a love for the bold flavor of Laotian foods and had the luxury of inheriting these recipes from my family. BUT... I have to admit, it has a bit of a millennial twist to it, but don't underestimate my ability to keep the recipe's authenticity ;)
